ReWild is excited to be hosting a day of Fibre Crafting.
Learn to make useful products from natural, local plant materials.
During this one day workshop you will learn to
-
Identify fibre/ weaving plants in our local environment

Sustainably harvest weaving materials

How to prepare fibres for use
We focus on the skills to transform plant materials into useful products and practical vessels.

Learn to make cordage (string/ rope) from various fibres
-
Make a coil basket
-
Make a water tight container using Bangalow Palm sheaths
Course includes all tuition and tea and coffee.
*This workshop is for adults. Children are welcome to accompany adults but please bring something to occupy them during the workshop
Located near the base of Wollumbin (Mt Warning) in the beautiful Tweed Valley, Northern NSW. We are only 50 mins from Gold Coast/Coolangatta airport and 2 hrs from Brisbane.
Minimum Age 14yrs
Cost $150 + booking fee
